Through literary research and a journey through Tokyo, the work traces the poetry of space and void within an environment of unfamiliar signs, gestures, and architectural forms.

Initial sketches and photographs, interwoven with personal memories and fragments of literary texts, form the basis for large-scale abstract graphic works. Arranged in a spatial installation, these works form a visual language that seems to write itself into space, tracing associative connections between observations of signs, semiotics, spatial realm and memories of time spent living in Tokyo, Japan.
